Over time, brass can oxidise and tarnish and may look a little dark and dull. All brass items come with a polishing pad to help you maintain a bright and shiny surface on your jewellery.
I also recommend you take your jewellery off in the shower and store it in a dry and safe space, such as the pouches you received them in.
